Global Responsibility for Twin Transition

Schrader (Bielefeld) The workshop addresses the global responsibility of the twin transition—the interlinked processes of digitalization and sustainability. While these processes are often treated separately, their convergence poses interdisciplinary and transnational challenges. The workshop examines how legal systems and market structures integrate these goals across jurisdictions. Central questions concern how different societies operationalize digital and sustainable objectives, what regulatory and market mechanisms enable their alignment, and how international cooperation can foster global coherence.
